WAYKE'S IN SWIMMING LESSONS

We signed Wayke up for swimming lessons in Vernal. They are two days a week for 4 weeks. I signed him up for the Seahorse Level but on the first day they moved him up to Turtle. His teacher was great. She really pushed Wayke because she new he could do it. When he first started he couldn't even dog paddle and keep his head up. By the time he was done he could swim about 30 feet by himself. He did such a good job. It also has really helped his confidence. Wayke doesn't really like to try anything new and thinks he can't do anything. When we would get to swimming lessons he loved running in and going to his class by himself. He would tell his teacher he couldn't do something and she would encourage him until he did it. She was very patient with him but also pushed him. He did such a good job. They said he should stay in this level to build his confidence. She had to talk him into doing everything. She thought it would be good for him to do it again so he will become sure of himself.
