THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...

There isn't much to blog about lately. The weather is cold and WINDY... I thought I would tell about a few of my favorite things right now:

1: Coconut Creme Kisses - YUMMY! These are so good you can't just eat one or two or even three - I find myself at the candy cupboard every minute getting more!
#2: Triscuit: Cracked Pepper & Olive Oil - If you are planning a romantic evening I wouldn't eat these before - they don't help your breath! But they taste delicious!

#3 - Refrigerator-Microwaveable Bran Muffins - When I was at college my roommate had these and I always wanted a recipe for them. Finally a couple of days ago I got a bright idea and looked on the Internet... You make the recipe then each time you want a muffin you put some batter in a cup and microwave it for 1 - 1:30 minutes. The are delicious and you don't have to make the muffin mess everyday! (The recipe says it can stay in the fridge for up to 4 weeks!)

Here is the recipe:
1 CUP WATER BOILED
3 CUPS BRAN (I USED BRAN CEREAL)
1/2 CUP BUTTER (I USED APPLESAUCE)
1 CUP SUGAR
2 EGGS
2 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
2 TSP SODA
2 CUPS BUTTERMILK OR SOUR MILK
Put the bran in a bowl and then pour the boiling water on top of it. Mix them up and then add the rest of the ingredients and mix. Put it in the refrigerator or make a muffin! I use a 8 oz cup and fill it half full (it grows). Put it in the microwave for 1-1:30 minutes. (I usually do 1:15 - it depends on how much you use). When it comes out you can either dump it out or eat it with a fork. Put jam or butter on it. ENJOY!
ONLY 2 MORE POST AND I AM ON #100!

As soon as Trent gets home I will be on my way to the grocery store for kisses, crackers and buttermilk (for the muffins). You know I can never find enough good things to eat LOL

The kisses look yummy. I have never seen them. So are you planning something really great for your 100th post?

Your post made my stomach growl. maybe it is time fore me to eat lunch. That recipe for the muffins is so smart. i like that you can only cook one at a time-that is genius. Thanks for posting about the kisses I am sure that my mom will buy them soon!

I'm going to put the kisses on my list. I just tried the crackers at my mom's, you can only have so many. Hope to see you soon.

Ok so I am not a coconut fan so I won't be trying that one. I love candy cane kisses, but you can only get them at Christmas time, grrrr!! So were you at the Hollow Moon for Dusty's Birthday?

I love the coconut kisses and ever since I tasted those crackers at your house I love them. I am not a fan of muffins so you can have them.

those treats look so delicious and since you run 10 miles a day you are allowed to eat as much as you want. I will have to try the muffins out thanks for sharing.
