PINEWOOD DERBY

Last night was Rayce's first Pinewood Derby.  We had Rayce design the car by himself and then he and Dusty cut it out.  Rayce also spent about 2 hours sanding the car.  He also painted the car himself.  Dusty did help him put additional weight on the car.  Neola 1st Ward and Whiterocks do their cub scouts together.  There were about 12 boys that had brought cars.  They all raced each other twice.  Rayce didn't loose one race.  He took first place.  He was so proud of himself.  He did such a good job.  Rayce said even if he wouldn't have won he still had fun because he built the car with his family.  And that was the most important part, spending time with his family!
