We had to move our cows from the Divide to Maybell a few weeks ago. We normally haul them in Semis but Dusty really wanted to drive them down the road. We asked help to come, about 40 people came to help. The town of Maybell all said they couldn't do it. Especially the man that ran the ranch we are running before us. He told Dusty there is no way he could make it. We set out early Saturday morning at sun up to gather the cows. It was a long day but the last calf arrived to our corrals about 6 pm. The first ones got there about 4:30 pm. It was a long day but thanks to a lot of great help, they made it!!! Our boys rode their horses almost the entire way. You can see they got off a few times and led their horse to give him a break for a minute then would get back on. They all had friends whose dads came over to help so they even enjoyed it more because they had friends there. Now, the cows just have to make 2 more weeks until we ship their calves... A day that always makes me sad :(

COOL! That is just so cool. So nice that you had lots of help...I know that it takes many helpers to do such a thing. (Brings back some childhood memories)
Holy COW!!! That is a long ways to travel. That is amazing that so many people came to help.
