Some friends of ours, Terri and Quinn Horrocks, asked us at the beginning of the year to go to San Diego. We finally sat down and bought the tickets in July to go in October. We picked a time that wouldn't be busy.... Or so we thought... And planned our trip. October came faster than normal (whatever normal is) and we are headed on our way. However, the timing was terrible. Maties mom passed away at the beginning of the week and the funereal was set for Thursday, the day we were leaving. We really wanted to be there for Matie and Cameron. We went to the viewing the night before. So sad to see such a good lady's life cut way to short. Matie is due to have their first baby in 2 weeks. Then, the cows in Colorado are terrible. Feed is running low and they have to make it 3 more weeks until the calves are sold. They are getting out daily. Also, Cale is moving and needs help... And days are busy trying to get ready... Of course the list is a mile long why the timing was bad but isn't that how it so ways goes! So here was the plan: Los Angeles the first day and Disneyland (which the men are against) then off to San Diego for 5 days. We boarded the plane and Ridge, Hunter and Wayke sat in one row. Dusty, Range and I in the next. Quinn, Jensen, and Rayce in the next. And last Terri.... And know we are off!

I hope you had lots of fun. So sorry about Matie's mom. I'm not sure there is ever a good time for vacation. You just have to do it. And I'm glad you did. Sounds like you had great plans for fun.
